Lamar County Standoff Ends In Arrest

A convicted felon  has been arrested following a standoff with multiple Lamar County law enforcement agencies at a Reno auto business Thursday.afternoon. It began when Reno police responded to a report of a man with a weapon at Topp Gunn Auto Auction on Airport Road. Deputies say Ronnie Miller then went into the office, put his gun down and said he would not be taken out alive. After about an hour, Reno Police Chief Matt Birch tased Miller and took him into custody. There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing.
