Lamar County Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

Bond has been set at $43,000 for a man stopped  by Lamar County deputies for a traffic violation.  When the deputy made contact with Reginald Wayne Carter, he conducted a probable cause search after smelling the odor of burnt marijuana. A large amount of cocaine and some marijuana was discovered and Carter was charged with manufacture and delivery of between 4 and 200 grams of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
