Lamar County United Way Fundraising Update

Lamar County United Way chairpersons, representatives of partner agencies and other volunteers, met at the New Hope Center Friday and received a report on the status of this year’s fundraising drive. So far, nearly $187,000 has been collected or pledged towards this year’s goal of $500,000. Money raised from this year’s campaign will support 25 non-profits served by the United Way.
