Large Turnout for DPS Trooper Nichols Funeral

People from all over Lamar County joined law enforcement, EMS and firefighters to pay their respects Thursday to Jeffrey Nichols, the state trooper killed last Saturday night in a single vehicle crash of his patrol car.  Nichols is survived by his parents, a brother and a sister.  He was 27.
