Law Enforcement Warns of Possible Pump Skimmers in Lamar County

Lamar County deputies are again warning area residents of credit and debit card skimmers found on gas pumps. Its extremely hard to detect the skimmers and numerous people’s identities and card information has been compromised. Authorities have told convenience store owners to take necessary precautions to help protect their customers, and customers are urged to watch their accounts closely.
