Lawsuit Filed By Uvalde Survivors

The parents of two surviving children at the Uvalde school massacre are filing a lawsuit against state and local officials. The suit seeks damages for negligence and names over 20 defendants. They include the shooter’s gun manufacturer, the local shop where the gunman legally bought his firearm and ammunition, several responding law enforcement officers, and the City of Uvalde and the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District.
