Lawsuit For Former State Judge Suzanne Wooten Won’t Be Thrown Out

A federal judge has refused to throw out a lawsuit filed against Collin County by former judge Suzanne Wooten. Federal Judge Amos Mazzant ruled that the Collin County DA’s office was “acting as investigators searching for a probable cause, as opposed to acting as prosecutors with probable cause in bringing bribery and money laundering charges against Wooten. Wooten was convicted of the charges, that were eventually dismissed.
