Lawsuits Filed Over Abbotts Mask Mandate Ban

Lawsuits are flying around Texas as counties challenge the Governor’s order that bans mask mandates in schools. Complaints are already on the record in Dallas,Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Austin. Legal analysts say all the lawsuits could end up being consolidated.  The Dallas County lawsuit asks a judge to issue a temporary restraining order that blocks the Governor from cutting off funding for any school district that disobeys his order.
