Leonard Senior And Junior High Schools Briefly Evacuated

Leonard Senior and Junior High Schools were briefly evacuated Friday when a science lab experiment involving phosphorus erupted in flames. The teacher and students in the lab extinguished the fire but called firefighters and EMS as a precaution. There were no injuries. High school students were sent home and junior high school students returned to class.
