Baylee Van Houten Leads LeTourneau Women’s Golf At Hal Sutton Intercollegiate.
BOSSIER CITY, La. – Looking to make a final-round push up the leaderboard, the LeTourneau University women’s golf team would be led by an eighth-place finish from Baylee Van Houten at the Centenary College Hal Sutton Intercollegiate at the Golf Club at StoneBridge in Bossier City, Louisiana on Tuesday, March 19.
Van Houten would shoot a final-round 83, four better than her first round performance on Monday to move up one spot with a two-day total of 170. Also running up one place on the leaderboard following the final-round would be Rachael Green who shot a 97 to finish in a tie for 23rd with a total of 192. Brittany Taylor also managed to finish one spot better than where she started the day after shooting her second consecutive round of 102.
LeTourneau will have a quick turnaround as the YellowJackets will compete in the Texas Cup in Plano, Texas beginning on Saturday, March 23. The two-day event will conclude on Sunday and be the final meet before the American Southwest Conference Championships in April.
