LeTourneau tennis earned four singles and one double award as the American Southwest Conference announced the 2017 all-conference teams on Thursday (May 11). The post season awards list and all-conference teams are voted by The head coaches vote on the post-season awards list, and all-conference teams and the conference office announced.

Women

Sophomore Lauren Rockwell <http://www.letuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3229> earned her first post-season honors as the all-ASC East Division second team at Flight 4 singles. Rockwell finished her 2017 campaign at 2-2 in conference play as she helped the YellowJackets compete for the fourth consecutive season at the ASC Tournament.

Men

Senior Ty Grove <http://www.letuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3236> was named to the all-ASC East Division second team at Flight 1 singles after a 7-11 at the top spot for the YellowJackets. Grove was 3-1 in conference play as he led LeTourneau to their fourth consecutive ASC Tournament appearance. It is the second all-conference award for Grove who was named an honorable mention after his freshman campaign in 2014 at No. 6 singles.

Freshman Christian Farris <http://www.letuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3242> also earned second team honors for the East Division after a 10-3 season at No. 2 singles. Farris also paired with Ty Grove <http://www.letuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3236> to be named all-ASC East Division second team in Flight 1 doubles. The duo finished the season at 9-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Freshman Jimmie Henson <http://www.letuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3241> was the last YellowJacket named to the all-ASC East Division second team at Flight 3 singles. Henson finished his rookie campaign with an 8-9 overall record and 2-2 in conference play.
