LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau University head men’s and women’s track and field coach Don Hood is asking that any current LeTourneau University students that are interested in becoming a member of the inaugural YellowJacket track and field teams attend an informational meeting. It is Monday, August 28th at 6:00 pm in the Solheim classroom.
No commitment will be asked at the meeting as the meeting is to allow for potential athletes to get information regarding practices and expectations of being on track and field team.
The LeTourneau track and field team will begin their first season of competition starting in January of 2018 and run a limited schedule which includes competing in the American Southwest Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
