A Lindale man accused of shooting a woman last March and leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a search has pleaded guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Evading Arrest, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. A court sentenced 35-year-old Samuel Salas to two life terms in state prison. Salas had claimed the shooting was an accident.
