Local man Dies in Accident on FM 1497

Timothy Richardson, 38, died Sunday afternoon in a collision involving two vehicles. The accident occurred two miles south on FM 1497, known as Old Dallas Highway. Richardson, driving a 2002 Ford Escape, allegedly overcorrected his vehicle when he had veered toward the west bar ditch. Turning back in, he ran his car into 2016 1-ton Ford F-350. The driver of the truck was not injured.
