Local Police Officer Dies After Finishing Shift

Law enforcement and first responders from throughout Northeast Texas are mourning the loss of a local police officer. Reportedly, 40-year-old Cumby Police Officer Jarrod Friddle passed away Monday night at home after finishing his shift. Initial indications are that he died from a sudden medical event. Prayers are requested for his family and friends, for the Cumby PD and all his brothers and sisters in law enforcement. RIP
