Longview Motorcycle Cop Injured

A Longview PD motorcycle officer was hospitalized after he was struck by a car while escorting a funeral procession. Officer Rodney Smith suffered multiple injuries when he was thrown from his motorcycle as the result of the crash. Smith is a ten-year veteran of the department.
