Nicole Kidman tells Parade Magazine that she and Keith Urban always talk on the phone because she is not a texter. “We’ve never texted. That is so not our relationship, which is interesting right? We call. We’ve done this since the very beginning. The reason it started was that I didn’t know how to text and it just kind of worked for us, so now we don’t. We just do voice-to-voice or skin-to-skin. I’ve had the thing where I re-read texts and I’m like, ‘what does that mean?’ and then read it to somebody and go ‘can you interpret that?’ “I don’t want that between my lover and I.”

I had a blast every day on set, working with Lionel [Ritchie] and Katy [Perry], and any time you’re watching people chase their dreams it’s pretty inspiring. It inspired me in a lot of ways to continue working really hard on my music. It was a perfect experience for me and I’m looking forward to next season.”
Miranda Lambert tells ‘hitsdailydouble’ that she enjoys taking social media breaks. “I took three months off all socials in 2015. I loved it. I realized I wasn’t picking up my phone looking at Twitter and Instagram. I wasn’t learning anything, wasn’t learning any what or why. I read Willie Nelson’s It’s a Long Story and poetry. I wrote 75 songs in six months because I wasn’t using my mind staring at mindless sh––. I took a week off [social media] a little while ago, and it felt so good. But you have to use it for work. I don’t want all my posts to be about promoting something. I do want to let people in on my regular life too; I’m just not very good at it. It makes me nervous, ’cause I’m private. I want to have some mystery, and I want people I’m fans of to have mystery too.

Blake Shelton tells NBC that The Voice changed his life. “I didn’t realize that most people in this country had never, ever heard of me, at all, or heard my music. And it wasn’t until I got on The Voice as a coach that I realized, ‘Man, I am nobody.’ I remember the first time or two they introduced us on the stage. … The Voice changed everything for me, and I mean everything.”
