Carrie Underwood is going to guest star on American Idol next Sunday night. She will mentor the singers before performing her new song ”Cry Pretty.”
A new survey by You Gov reveals that Carrie Underwood is the most popular American Idol winner (60%) followed by Kelly Clarkson (56%), Jordin Sparks (35%), Fantasia (26%), Ruben Studdard (26%), Scotty McCreery (26%), Taylor Hicks (20%), David Cook (20%) and Phillip Phillips 20%.
Just Jared claims American Idol judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan were recently answering questions from the press when Luke said; “And she’s pregnant! I’m just playing!” Katy responded; “I’ll have some private conversations with him and his manager after this. The only thing I’m pregnant with is an In-N-Out burger right after this.”
Katy Perry tells Entertainment Tonight that she was hesitant about working alongside Luke Bryan on American Idol. “I mean honestly, I look back at the first one and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this guy is so crazy. I can’t believe we have to do like months with this weirdo’. And now he’s like my brother.”

Luke Bryan tells ET that he’s excited about American Idol being renewed for a second season. “It’s so nice to have planned employment for next year. I’ve never had employment this far out in my whole life.
Tim McGraw’s half-brother, Matthew, graduated from Penn State University over the weekend. Matthew and Tim are both sons of former major league pitcher Tug McGraw. Tim is 51 while Matthew is in his early twenties.
Pop Culture Country claims Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood recently spoke at the University of Georgia’s graduation ceremony. Charles told students; “The thing that has brought me the most happiness is chasing my dream. I loved studying finance. But I always had this artistic side that I knew was kind of in the shadows. There are so many options for you guys and don’t think you only have one clear path. I hate when people say, ‘Don’t have a plan B.’ That’s BS. I totally had a plan B, and it took all the risk away from me. Good luck. I wish you all well, I hope you can find your dream job, but just be happy, find your purpose, [and] be nice to mom and dad.”
