Major Ammunition Plant Coming To East Texas

Hooks will have hundreds of new jobs next year after a central ammunition plant opens. Carrollton’s expansion Industries is opening the plant on land purchased from the TexAmericas Center east of Hooks. The state-of-the-art facility will specialize in making parts for the small arms industry. In addition, the company is hosting a job fair on Jan. 29 at 523 Titus Road in Hooks.
