The Pittsburg Police Department has posted on its Facebook page that a traffic stop on Dickson Street resulted in the arrest of a local man on felony drug charges. During the traffic stop, officers seized 85 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and an undisclosed amount of cash. They arrested 44-year-old Valentin Gardea Aguirre on multiple charges and was being held in the Camp County Jail.

At 3:00 pm on July 25, 2018, PPD officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100-block of Dickson. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Valentin Gardea Aguirre, 44, of Pittsburg. Further investigation resulted in the seizure of 85 grams of methamphetamine along with pills, marijuana, and cash. Aguirre was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG3. He was booked into the Camp County Jail.
