Major Marijuana Grow Farms Raided

Wood County Deputies executed search warrants at multiple suspected indoor marijuana grow sites in the Lake Quitman area and arrested two Russian nationals, three Bolivian nationals, and three East Texans. Deputies seized about 1,000 pounds of marijuana, some of which they had partially harvested. Officials executed another search warrant over the weekend on Wood CR-1573 and seized 600 pounds of marijuana. They charged all with the delivery of marijuana more significant than 50 pounds, less than or equal to 2,000 pounds, a first-degree felony.
