Major Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-30 In Hopkins County

A major multi-vehicle crash occurred on I-30 in Hopkins County at about 1:45 Tuesday afternoon in a construction zone in the East Bound lanes where traffic was bumper to bumper. It began when one passenger vehicle rear-ended another, starting a chain reaction involving at least four passenger vehicles. Two people were flown to trauma centers by helicopter ambulances, but no further information was available.
