Spike In COVID-19 In Lamar County

Thursday, June 18, the Paris-Lamar County Health District was notified of another death related to COVID-19. This death is not associated with a nursing home facility.

It comprises 13 COVID-19 related deaths, nine associated with Paris Healthcare Center, one with Stillhouse, and three are unrelated.

As of today, 6/18/2020 Lamar County received notification of an additional 19 COVID-19 cases: A one-year-old male, 24-year-old female, 25-year-old male, 26-year-old male, 26-year-old female, 26-year-old female, 27-year-old female, 32-year-old male, 32-year-old female, 40-year-old male, 40-year-old female, 50-year-old male, 51-year-old female, 52-year-old male, 56-year-old male, 57-year-old male, 58-year-old female, plus an additional one female-age will be updated tomorrow.

Lamar County has a total of 199 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with seven travel-related and 192 community spread.

As of today, 118 positives have recovered.

Age 0-9: 1 male

Age 10-19: 2 males 4 female

Age 20-29: 12 males 21 females

Age 30-39: 17 males 18 females

Age 40-49: 7 males 19 females

Age 50-59: 15 males 15 females

Age 60-69: 15 males 22 females

Age 70-79: 7 males 13 females

Age 80 +: 6 males 5 females
