Major Zoning Changes Considered By Sulphur Springs City Council

The Sulphur Springs City Council will consider a significant zoning change at tonight’s meeting. The change would change approximately 42 acres in the northwest part of Sulphur Spring from Single-Family to Heavy Industrial. If the council approves, a company will build a Hot Mix Asphalt Plant on the property. They expect a large crowd. The council will hold an Executive Session to consult with its attorney and consider economic development for Thermo 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
