Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 8-Year-Old On Trial in Choctaw County

Trial is underway in Choctaw County for a man accused of sexually assaulting an 8 year old girl.  The assaults allegedly committed by Carl Lewis Moore Jr  took place in 2005 and 2006 but he was not indicted until 2015. The victim’s parents accused the sheriff’s office for not fully investigating the accusations when they were first reported.
