Man Accused Of Stealing Side-by-Side Identified

The man arrested by Hopkins County Deputies Tuesday for allegedly stealing a side-by-side and attempting to elude a search was a Cass County man. They charged 31-year-old Jacob Lyda of Linden with evading with a vehicle, evading on foot, and two counts of burglary of a habitation. Deputies say Lyda also burglarized a home after wrecking the stolen side-by-side and stealing summer sausage. His bonds total $160,000.
