Man Arrested After Scuffling With Paris PD Officers

Paris police were called to investigate a possible narcotics violation in the 1500 block of Graham and found 26 year old  Anthony Myers in possession of a small amount of synthetic marijuana and under the influence of the drug. Myers allegedly jumped toward firefighters and officers and was taken to the ground where he began to kick, bite, and pull his hands away as officers were trying to place handcuffs on him. Myers allegedly bit one of the firefighters on the finger. He was also charged with assault on a public servant.
