Man Charged With Assaulting, Robbing Disabled Man

An East Texas man was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped a disabled man at a bank and forced him to try to withdraw money from his account. White Oak Police arrested 37-year-old Douglas Eugene Barron, Jr., of Marietta, for Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Kidnapping, Unauthorized use of a Vehicle and Injury to a Disabled Person with Intent to Cause Serious Injury. His bond was set at $127,000.
