Man Dies During Booking In Hopkins County

A Dallas man arrested Tuesday night by Hopkins County Deputies on I-30 on drug and money laundering charges died while being booked into the jail. The man showed signs of illness and EMS was called and initiated CPR but the man died on the way to the hospital. Texas Rangers will investigate. The man had been cooperative and was in no confrontational during the arrest or booking process. His name has not been released.
