Man Involved In Camp County Shootout, Standoff Sentenced

The man who was involved in a shootout with Camp County Deputies in June of 2017 has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault against a public servant. Robert Darrell Giles, III, of Pittsburg was sentenced to 18 years in prison. He will have to serve at least nine years behind bars before he becomes eligible for parole. No deputies were injured in the incident.
