Man, Juvenile Charged In East Texas Thefts

Cherokee County Deputies arrested a Troup man and a juvenile for multiple thefts in the area. Deputies recovered two stolen ATV ’s, a dirt bike, generator, power tools, and a Yeti cooler at a wrecking yard and returned them to the rightful owners. Austin Hawkins, 26, is being held on $40,000 bond and the boy was turned over to juvenile authorities. The investigation is continuing.
