Man Killed By Resident During Alleged Robbery Attempt

One man is dead after an apparent robbery attempt in Texarkana. Police responded to a residence where 32-year-old Joseph Walker told them he had shot a man who attempted to rob him. Officers found 40-year-old Rodney Richardson lying in the grass suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is continuing.
