A Northeast Texas man charged with murder in the stabbing death of his adult son has pleaded guilty in Bowie County to a lesser charge of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. Prosecutors say fifty-year-old Elgin Hollingsworth of Texarkana stabbed his son Demoryea during a physical altercation about money last April. Elgin now faces two to 20 years in prison at his sentencing March 10.
