Man Sentenced For Shooting At East Texas Officers

The East Texas man convicted of shooting at Smith County deputies with an AK-47 during a high-speed pursuit in 2016 was sentenced late Thursday afternoon. The court gave 21-year-old Juan Quiroga 50 years in prison. Two other men were charged in the case. No officers were injured in the incident.
