Man Shot By TJC Officer Dies

The man shot by a Tyler Junior College Police Officer Wednesday after he threatened a college employee has died of his wounds. Officials said he was 66-year-old Pedro Martinez, Jr., of Tyler. College officials declined to say what kind of weapon the person had or what kind of threats he had made. Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
