Man Sought In Connection With Hopkins County Shooting Found Dead

The body of a man who was reportedly a “person of interest” in a fatal shooting Friday at Hopkins CR 4772 in the northern part of the county was found dead Saturday night of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. James Kilgore had been the subject of a major manhunt Friday and Saturday in connection with the death of 36-year-old Joshua Adam Vaughn. He was also wanted on a warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in connection with an incident earlier this month.
