Man Surrenders To Authorities

Monday, Timothy Eugene Jones, 26, an armed and dangerous fugitive wanted for murder, surrendered to authorities after being implicated in the death of a man whose body officials found in the woods. Jones reportedly called a member of the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force and said he wanted to give himself up. The fugitive was arrested in Dallas and is awaiting extradition to Smith County. Tyler Police worked a welfare check and determined there was foul play. They found Anthony Wilson, 53, in a wooded area in Northeast Tyler.
