The East Texas man accused of fatally shooting a Smith County Constable’s K-9 partner has pleaded guilty. Michael Paul Koch had been accused of interference with a service animal, evading arrest, unlawful possession and manufacturing of meth and felony theft. He’s been sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison.
