Man Who Killed Mother Gets New Execution Date

A Northeast Texas death row inmate condemned for killing his mother and burying her in their backyard has received a new execution date. The court gave 61-year-old Tracy Beatty of Whitehouse a reprieve in March 2020 because of the pandemic. His new execution date is now Nov. 9.
