Manhunt Subject Arrested In Mineola

A man suspected of shooting and wounding a woman in Lindale  and was the subject of a four-day manhunt was captured Monday morning in Wood County.  Thirty-four-year-old Samuel Salas was located at a home in Mineola at about 10:45 after deputies received a tip he may be at that location. He’s now being held in the Smith County jail on charges that include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
