Bebe Rexha tells Racked magazine that she gets her fashion sense from 90’s pop stars. ”I love Aaliyah, TLC, Gwen Stefani. I love stuff from the ’90s: chunky heels, chokers, ripped or baggy jeans with a tight tank top. It was such a sick time for grunge and hip-hop, and it’s such a vibe that we’re starting to see come back in a lot of different ways again.”

Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey tells Certified Country that his kids know when he has a hit record. “You know when you have a hit song when they’re like, ‘Play that one! Play that one! Play that one!’ We always talk about our kids being a great way to judge whether it’s a hit song because there’s something very basic about the way they perceive the music that I think needs to be there if it’s gonna be a hit. You can overthink it a lot, but there’s something very basic about a hit song and if a kid can get it, then you’ve got a good chance, I think.”

Kelly Clarkson tells Rolling Stone that she plans to record a country CD. “I am very particular about it. I’ve started, but I keep changing my idea of what I want it to like because I have so many different influences, even in the country world. I like singer-songwriters like Patty Griffin and Alison Krauss, and the Raising Sand album she did with Robert Plant. I have all these ideas, and I haven’t really nailed down what I want to do. I just really want to do right by it.”
