The parents of a North Texas Marine, who has been in a Russian prison since 2019, say they can’t wait to see their son. Trevor Reed was released today in a prisoner swap with a Russian pilot convicted of drug smuggling. Joey Reed told reporters his son is doing much better out of Russian custody outside his Granbury home. They sentenced Reed to nine years in prison for allegedly assaulting Russian police during a night of drinking. U.S. officials say the charges were bogus and trumped up.
