Marion County Deputies Find Body

Marion County Deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence about nine miles west of Jefferson. When they arrived, they entered the home and found narcotics in plain sight. Officers continued to search for the person referred to in the welfare check and found a body they have not identified. At this time, deputies arrested 28-year-old Tommy Elvin Wadlington on drug charges, and the investigation continues.
