In his new memoir, Elton John writes that Richard Gere and Sly Stallone almost got into a fight over Princess Diana at a dinner party. Gossip Ireland has posted an excerpt that reads, “They ended up sitting in front of the fireplace together, locked in rapt conversation. As the rest of us chatted, I couldn’t help notice a strange atmosphere in the room. Judging by the kind of looks he kept shooting them, Diana and Richard Gere’s newly blossoming friendship was not going down well with Sylvester Stallone at all. It transpired that David [Elton’s husband] discovered Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere in the corridor, squaring up to each other, apparently about to settle their differences over Diana by having a fist-fight. He’d managed to calm things down by pretending he hadn’t noticed what was going on — ‘Hey, guys! Time for dinner!’ — but Sylvester clearly still wasn’t happy. ‘I never would have come,’ he snapped, as David and I showed him to the door, ‘if I’d known Prince Charming was gonna be here.’”
Screen Rant claims Mark Hamill, who plays the Joker in the comic book cartoon series, loved ”Joker”. He tweeted, The #JokerMovie opens today. A source tells the website, ”Katy’s wedding to Orlando will be the opposite of what she had with Russell and that’s exactly how she wants it. She’s much more mature now and so is her relationship — and the man she’s marrying. Orlando isn’t the ‘look-at-me’ type, so having a flashy wedding as she had with Russell is out of the question and Katy’s very glad about that because it is not at all who she is either. She is not thinking a lot about her first wedding though, it is not even on her mind because she’s living in the now and it is perfect. Katy’s looking to have a small, intimate wedding with close family and friends and most importantly have it be fun. A source tells the website, “Ben and Lindsay looked like they were the real deal. They were checking out apartments together and really believed they had a future together. After they split up, they briefly got back together since they still had feelings for each other, but soon realized they had the right love at the wrong time and decided to just be friends. Ben has mixed feelings about Lindsay seeing Jon. Yes, he is hurt but at the same time, he is happy she has found a good man and gives them both his blessings. Any hope of Ben getting back with Lindsay is over, but he is happy for her. She’s an extraordinary person.”
Tone-Deaf claims Ozzy Osbourne, Meatloaf, Jane Lynch, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Patrick Stewart, among others, have recorded an anti-bullying song for the anti-bullying documentary #NoJoke. The film is about a man, who brings his musical idols together to help him record a song for victims of bullying.
The Scottish Sun claims Bill Murray recently partied at a frat in Scotland. The Ghostbusters star met students at a pub after golfing. He went back to their frat house where they drank together and sang Scottish folk songs. Cops arrived before Bill stared them down. Student Hugh Kelly tells the paper, ”Bill stood up and just stared at them, and then the police were just like, ‘Oh sorry guys, just keep it down a bit, have a good night’. He’s an odd guy but a lovely guy. He started drinking with us and we managed to get him back to ours after. He’s nearly 70 and he’s just there getting hammered with us.”

In Touch Weekly Magazine says Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested on Friday for felony domestic violence and kidnapping. He and his girlfriend, Jen Harley, were fighting when cops arrived. They tased Ronnie because he was being uncooperative. The couple’s 17-month-old daughter was not harmed
The Daily Mail and New Idea magazine say Lindsay Lohan is being replaced as a judge on ”The Masked Singer: Australia.” A source tells the news outlets, ”Lindsay was tricky with demands and had a complete lack of respect for time schedules.”
The Daily Beast claims Prince Harry is suing The Sun and The Mirror newspapers for phone hacking. A Buckingham Palace official tells the website, “I can confirm that claims have been filed on behalf of the Duke of Sussex at the High Court regarding the illegal interception of voicemail messages. Given the particulars of the claims are not yet public, I can offer no further comment at this time.”
ESPN says Conor McGregor has been charged with assault for punching a man in a Dublin, Ireland pub. The UFC star slugged the man after he refused to drink his new whiskey. McGregor is now facing six months in jail and a fine of $1,646.
McGregor released a statement saying, “I was in the wrong. That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did. … I tried to make amends, and I made amends back then. But it doesn’t matter. I was in the wrong. I must come here before you and take accountability and take responsibility. I owe it to the people that have been supporting me. I owe it to my mother, my father, my family. I owe it to the people who trained me in martial arts. That’s not who I am. That’s not the reason why I got into martial arts or studying combat sports. The reason I got into it was to defend against that type of scenario.”
The NY Post says PETA slammed Justin Bieber for paying $35,000 for a pair of exotic kittens.
They posted: “Baby, baby, baby, nooooooo/ Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter — rather than fueling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis, and proving that when it comes to helping animals, his stance so far is ‘I don’t care.’”

Ur tripping because I want a specific kind of cat? ‘U weren’t tripping when I got my dog Oscar and he wasn’t a rescue… every pet we get must be a rescue? I believe in adopting rescues but also think there are preferences and that’s what breeders are for. PETA go help with all of the plastic in the ocean and leave my beautiful cats alone.’
PETA responded, “Sorry, Justin, but you must think more deeply about this issue: When millions of animals are losing their lives every year because not enough people adopt — choosing instead to shop — the animal overpopulation crisis is a ‘real problem.’ That’s what ‘sucks’. PETA urges you to spend just one hour in a municipal animal shelter with us — we think you’ll understand how hard it is to look into the animals’ eyes and know that because people pay breeders, many of them will pay with their lives. You have the power to be a great role model on this issue — your behavior guides that of tons of your fans — so please put that to good use,”
