Marshall Fire Gives Mom Second-Degree Burns

Marshall fire units worked a structure fire Wednesday morning at 9:28 on W. Meredith St. to a reported structure fire. The mother and her two children made it to safety. However, the mother of two sustained second-degree burns to approximately 15% percent of her body and is in stable condition. It appeared that the fire was the result of a cooking accident.
