Marshall’s Councilman Arrested

Marshall’s Police Department hosted a meeting called “Marshall against Violence” (MAV). During that meeting, Marshall’s City Commissioner Michael Mitchell showed up and interrupted the meeting to the point where Police removed him from the room. He is in Harrison County Jail waiting for a bond. Mitchell showed up late allegedly defend comments he posted on Facebook, in which he misconstrued a demonstration the police department conducted with a citizen.
