Marshall’s First United Methodist Church On Fire

Firefighters in Marshall are working to put out a large fire at First Methodist Church, 300 E. Houston Street. Officials reported to the scene between 1:00 and 1:30 this Monday morning. Firefighters from Longview and West Harrison are assisting the Marshall Fire Department. Chief David Rainwater says there is still a large volume of fire they need to put out, and they are having issues with the water supply. Firefighters expect the fire will take several hours to extinguish.
