McCreery Weds Plus FGL New Album In 2019 in Today’s Nashville Insider

The E! News Network claims Scotty McCreery and his high school sweetheart, Gabi Dugal, married in the North Carolina mountains this past weekend. They danced to Elvis Presley’s ‘’Can’t Help Falling in Love’’ for their first dance. Over 200 people attended the wedding. Scotty and Gabi have known each other since they were little kids

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard tells Billboard magazine that the band will release a new CD in early 2019. “The plan is to try to release a song or two every month until the album comes out. Every song, we’re really, really proud of—from ‘Swerve,’ which has a kind of a different hip-hop feel, to a song called ‘People Are Different,’ an amazing ‘life song.'”

Morgan Wallen tells Entertainment Focus that he was a rocker growing up. ”I grew up mostly listening to classic rock and contemporary Christian music if you can believe that or not? Once I got to middle school age I really loved the whole Three Doors Down, Linkin Park and all that kind of thing that was going on. I really loved. The country was something that I discovered a little bit later, as far as my love for it, and it was Eric Church’s Love Your Love the Most probably 10 or 12 years ago. I fell in love with that song and fell in love with Eric Church as an artist. I started digging deeper into Country music and realized how much I loved a lot. I was born in a place where there was only 1,100 people or something like that so I related to what the genre speaks about. When I started writing songs, I just naturally wrote Country music. I didn’t plan on it being that way, it’s just how it was. I grew up listening to a little bit of everything.”

Keith Urban tells Pop Culture Country that he loves being a dad. “The first thing is probably just having someone call you dad. I’m like, ‘Omigosh! I’m her dad! That’s amazing.’ That’s probably the first thing to me. The different personalities that our two daughters have, that’s amazing. I think for the people that haven’t had kids – which I hadn’t for a long, long time. I didn’t have kids ‘til later on, and being around it is not the same as having them. I realize that it’s not something that can be explained until you actually sort of have it, so I’m glad I got to experience that.”

Thomas Rhett tells Sounds Like Nashville that his daughters have made him a more patient person. “I would hope that the people in this room think I’ve become a more patient person. I think that when you have kids you’re kind of forced to change a lot of stuff about yourself and your old habits. Because life really does change whether you want it to or not, and so I feel like I’ve become somewhat of a more laid-back human being.”

Bebe Rexha tells the BBC that she once sold makeup to Rihanna while working at a department store makeup counter New York. “I’d walked away from my make-up stand to go and get lunch but someone was like, ‘Rihanna’s at your counter!’ I left my lunch and ran down – and suddenly she was in front of me. Stunning, stunning, stunning in real life. I was like, ‘Wooooow, she is so beautiful.’ Everyone was bothering her and trying to take pictures. I was like, ‘Leave her alone, let her buy her make-up in peace… And let her talk to me while she does it!'”
