Medical License Suspended For North Texas Physician

A disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board has temporarily suspended the medical license of DR. Howard Gregg Diamond, who operated clinics in Paris and Sherman and had patients from throughout the area. The panel ruled that Diamond’s continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare and cited his recent indictment alleging a pattern of practice which includes “prescribing dangerous controlled substances with a risk of abuse and diversion for no legitimate medical purpose.”
