Meet the DJ: Cary Eldridge

Cary Eldridge

Cary is the host of “Cary and Clint in the Morning.” Cary has been in radio since 1991 with a 9-year sabbatical marketing real estate developments in Chicago. He graduated from UIC (Chicago) with a degree in Mass Communications and went to Columbia College Graduate School of Journalism. Cary also is a play-by-play announcer and was a four-time recipient of the New Mexico Broadcasters Association Play-By-Play Announcer of the Year. He joined East Texas Broadcasting July 5, 2012.

 Cary and his wife Terrie, who also works at East Texas Broadcasting, have a son and a daughter and six beautiful grandchildren.  In free time, they love hiking and canoeing, visiting our State Parks, discovering Texas wineries and taking road trips as often as possible to see family or explore this wonderful planet.

 “Of everything I enjoy about radio,” Cary muses, “interaction with the listeners tops the list. Having the audience more than just listen, to be an active part of the show, is the most fun. Nothing makes me happier than when listeners become the true stars of the show.”
